Today, i shall attempt to blog about my trip to Nepal.
Yes, attempt is the word.
think i'd just give u the gist of the whole trip.

here it goes.

as it's my dear bro's first time sitting on board an AEROPLANE, he got super excited.
bro: sitting aeroplane would be my hobby! :D
mum: !!
-----
few mins later..
bro: where's my breakfast??!
me: haha. none for u.
(but it ended up that the air stewardess served his first)
bro: HAHAHAA. i got my food first
me:...
bro: chomp chomp!

getting off at nepal's was brrr..COLD!
there isn't the ____ thingy
wth do u call that? bridge thingy (??!)
you just walk in the open till u reach the airport building itself.
it was darn cold all the way, till we reached our small van, which we'd be travelilng in- for 7 days.

kathmandu is the capital of nepal.
it's the only town which things are more "In"
erm, not much though.
in fact, the country is still quite poor.
children are seen wandering in streets begging tourists for money and the conditions of their houses are very bad! even the kampongs in pulau ubin or where so ever can win them -.-

walking on the streets are a killer.
people would just haunt u with the items they are trying to sell u.
i pity them.
there are endless "shops" selling exactly the same stuff.
how do they make a living?? :/

others sell from food to even an violin! their violin is a mini one though, i'd show a pic later.
and yes, the ppl would tail u..try to speak to in all sorts of lang.

man: konichiwa!
me: -_-
man: hen pian yi de! (very cheap)
me: *run ah*
man: good price..good price!!!

nepalese way of answering YES is to shake their head.
(at the hotel)
mum: can we have 4 cups of tea pls?
waiter: *shakes head* ok..
mum: !! (is that a yes or no)
but the tea came later.
WOW. then how vigorous must they shake their to disagree with u!! xD

pokhara's beauty of the nature just amazes me.
the sunrise was totally awesome..and cold!!
i still couldn't stand the coldness till the 3rd day..with me wearing 6 layers, looking ever so FAT!

i've got a picture with a bigger sun though (-_-)
Click here to view more pics.

wheeee. look at this!
it's my first time getting so close to a MOUNTAIN!
haha. it's suppose to be a snow mountain though, guess the sun hasn't REALLY risen.
btw, that isn't Mt everest -.-

our next destination was chitwan national park.
haha. i love that place :D
we took a ox cart around the villages.

here's an oh-so-love shot i took!!

holy s-h-i-t!
once again, my brother got so excited when i manage to capture this very MOMENT.

every single house in the village is made of straws, sticks covered with a layer of mud.
but the children are so cute :D they would just wave crazily shouting "hello" and "bye bye" whenever they see us three weird four-eyed looking people (excluding my bro).

the jungle walk was so thriling!!!
we saw rhino, tiger, bear, wild boar, leopard and deer.
MY FOOT
-_-
i forget to add in one word, or rather two words..
"paw prints"/ "foot print"
YES.
it was a pity ):
no tigers appeared.
hahaha. we only saw fresh wild jungle animal's foot print plus the horrible cry of the wild board.
oh, not forgetting their DUNG too.

i did see a REAL rhino, monkey, deer, crocodile and elephant though.

here's the pic of the fat rhino.
A closed-up shot :D

I entered the jungle TWICE.
once riding the elephant with it breaking away all the twigs hindering it's way.
and the second time, with me ALSO breaking away horrible thorns and twigs hindering my way and trudging my way through the entire walk (!!)

the elephant which was carrying me decided to answered to nature's call on the way.
the sh*t was like AS HUGE AS FOUR FISTS and the *ahem* process of urinating was deafening ,as well as FOUL SMELLING.
i tried feeding the elephnat after our ride.
it's mouth was HUMONGOUS AND TERRIFYING!!

back to the jungle walk..
aftwards, we walked our way to the elephant breeding centre.
this baby ele went bersek and went straight to hit right into my mum!
ouch.
we didn't want to pat the ele anymore.

it took us hours to wait for one pathetic boat to ferry us over the river to get back to the hotel.
there were, probably hundred other ppl waiting to board that boat too.
then, something amusing happened.
students who went there for thier school trip WANTED MY AUTOGRAPH.
OHOHO
they just got so interested that we weren't from nepal, thus crowding round us and talking to us.

heh. got a shot with them.
but there's one thing- they are really friendly!
Erm, i don't think we'd ever be that friendly (well, even without the autograph part) and talk to tourists (????!)
LOL

the manager of the lodge at chitwan adores my bro that he even him free popcorns once my bro complained that he was hungry.
i'm lik WTH -.-
he also can't rmb our names, resulting in our new names, Mr Eight for yang Ms Fourteen for mine
o_O

sitting in that small van travelling around nepal isn't good.
at least not good at all for long distance.
i feel asleep throughout the whole trip going to Nargakot (well , almost)
Only to wake up hearing knocks from the window panes.
guess who's there?
just people haunting us again.
Trying to sell their bbq corns, chips, and water.

this boy was jian4.
he simply stuffed this cracker thing into my brother;s hand & demanded for a pencil.
having pity on them, my mum just gave him one, only to her very horror that all the children started popping up
T_T

Oh yes, and while travelling up the mountain(or was it a hill) to the hotel where i thought i could see Mt Everest, everyone went dizzy andwas VAN sick ._.

seeing Mt Everest was quite a failure though, even with the help of my cam's opital PLUS digital zoom, it still appeared as tiny as ever, cos the bloody hotel was a billion stone's throw away from everest.
-_-

happy guessing which is the great Mt. Everest.
i bet you'd never guess it! =p

the tour guide also took us to many HOLY PLACES
hahaah.
hindu temple, buddhist temples etc..
even to a place for cremation.
OMG, that place was freaking scary.
you see DEAD people being burnt as well as sad people crying their hearts out
eeeeks.
the guide kept prouncing lord shiva as SIVA and i was O_O
LOL.
he said that as shiva was the creator and destryer of god, they use *AHEM*
thehumansexua organs to represent him.
the way which he explained to us was also ......

and i thought the kama sutra (whtever the sp is) is some PURE HOLY BOOK.
hahaha, but when i saw it..
it's just lots of pic on ppl having sex
-___-''

this is the pic of their cultural show during the last few nights.
their so-called-violin even has four tuning pegs and i saw him applying rosin too!
roflmao.

Overall, the trip was enjoyable.
totally different from travelling to m'sia (which i had always been doing during the hols -.-)
nepal's the country which isn't developed at all and u get to see how poorly, and yet happy the people there lived.
it really sets u thinking.

I forget to tell you something.
on the last day, all of us got either serious stomach ache, headache or cough (eh, but lousy me got all of the above) and thus our great plan of shopping was ruined.
So, don't come bugging me for souvenirs!!
heehee
